A Fairy Tale
The Story of AngryTowne and SelloutVille Once upon a time there were two cities, AngryTowne and SelloutVille, separated by a dense wood. The people of AngryTowne would stomp and scream, and joined together in opposing all forms of humor. The people of SelloutVille liked to curry favor, and would believe anything for a price. One day a group of AngryTowne inhabitants decided to hold a series of sit-ins in SelloutVille, to reduce their general level of comedic expression. At the same time a group of SelloutVille citizens were planning an Ad campaign to convince AngryTowners to market a line of laundry detergent. Several weeks passed, with groups from one city venturing to promote their ideas and products in the other city. A path developed linking the two localities. Eventually, for the sake of convenience, a tent was erected marking the midpoint of the path. Thus was born a hamlet that went by the name of "Focus." |
