April 18, 2002 What a thrill to learn about grant proposal writing at the National Mental Health Association headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. The five day training, during which issues of importance to the mental health community were discussed among the 22 capable participants from around the country, had a decidedly historic feel. That is to say, within the group was a spirit of selfless contribution in achieving social and societal progress. Above Terry and I (Marc) pose in front of the Mental Health Bell.
