Love, Hate, and Greed Without Freud's Thanatos and Eros Theme
But love is something hard to describe Accurately to logic's mind And many people have disagreed About how Jesus could love someone like me Or how he loved his Apostle John Upon whose breast he did lean upon At the last supper before Jesus was gone To prove Jerusalem's judges wrong And be a subject for heavenly song. To go on I said that many did disagree About what Jesus'es love decree did mean "Love each other as I have loved thee" For Instance According to the translators King James hired, Jesus loved John to follow Where/as oth/er theolog/ically hol/low Bibles/ state/ John did Je/sus fol/low. And then, Many so-called Christians say The Apostles were perfect in every way And therefore Paul disagreed not with James About the virtue of works versus faith Despite the fact that John did relate That false rumours went about From other follower's teaching spouts. Anyway we can agree That theologians have much disagreed About the meaning of Jesus'es love theme And I have spent the last ten years Without much success in setting love's gears.
